What to do this weekend if you’re in the mood to mingle
Find things to do in Dubai this weekend, 10–12 April, from jazz nights and skate culture to markets and music-led social experiences across the city.

Things to do this weekend
If you’re in the mood to float between spaces and people, the city is full of moments that feel social and a little serendipitous.
Here’s where to go when you just want to drift and tap into the vibe...
Jazz at Theatre of Digital Art (TODA), Souk Madinat Jumeirah
If you’re in the mood to unwind, sit back and enjoy a jazz performance at Theatre of Digital Art. Olesia & Big Band take to the stage to perform all your favourites, within a full sensory experience.
It’s not a mingle as such, but a chance to tap into the vibe - seated in comfort, surrounded by jazz lovers.
Friday 10 April, toda.ae
The Cookout, One Central
A laid-back community gathering of whiffs of smoky BBQ and nostalgic RnB music at One Central, where good vibes take centre stage in this outdoor social event.
Lead by DJ Crown Prince, people come and go throughout the day, and the warm, open energy makes it easy to settle into the vibes.
Saturday 11 April, The Cookout!
Gooder, Alserkal Avenue
Head to the UAE’s first indoor skatepark, The Gooder Skatepark. Saturday is launch day, so there’s plenty happening - from new collections available to purchase to a skate contest.
Music spills into the space through live music - while skaters and curious drop-ins create a constant flow of movement and good energy.
Saturday 11 April, gooderskateboarding
The Vinyl Souk, Py by Bull Funk Zoo Anniversary Listening Session, 25hours One Central
A special edition of The Vinyl Souk marks one year of Py. Expect a curated listening session followed by live performances from Adiga Music Band, Ananya Murali, and Dear Cloudberry in Nomad Courtyard in 25hours One Central Dubai.
Flip through records, pause for DJ sets and connect over shared tastes. It’s less about dancing and more about being present in the sound. Best of all, it’s free.
Sunday 12 April, vinylsoukdxb
Alserkal Avenue Farmers Market
For a more leisurely, all-in-one wander, spend time at Alserkal Avenue while the farmers market is on. Drift between galleries, grab a bite to eat and let the mix of creatives and pop-ups carry you through the afternoon.
While you’re there, swing by the spiciest shop in town, House of Habanero. The shelves are stacked with flavours from across the globe, the Bhalla Spices and Jerk sauce are one of our personal favourites - but don’t take our word for it, try it yourself.
Saturday and Sunday, alserkal.online
